Cloud Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Automation specialist to design, deploy, and optimise VMware Cloud Foundation environments with a focus on automation, DevOps, and scalable secure solutions.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month contract position that involves leading VCF deployments and lifecycle management, integrating and optimising Aria Suite for automation, observability, and operations, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Ansible & Aria, implementing RBAC/IAM policies and ensuring compliance, mentoring engineers and documenting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Implement automation tools such as Ansible and Aria to streamline processes.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on best practices.
- 10+ years of experience in IT/cloud engineering with expertise in VMware.
- Strong automation skills in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably AKS/Tanzu.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
