This role involves leading a team to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy in a dynamic organisation.
The successful candidate will have expertise in statutory payroll requirements, legislation, and salary packaging, with experience managing high-volume payroll environments.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Managing the delivery of a major workstream focused on Payroll and Time & Attendance related activities
- Leading a small team to perform Quality assurance work around pay accuracy and Enterprise Agreement compliance
- Ensuring compliance with industrial instruments, relevant payroll legislation, and EA provisions
- Collaborating with the Data and Analytics team to ensure accurate pay modelling
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and issues efficiently
- Proven payroll leadership experience and staff management skills
- Strong knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, legislation, and salary packaging
- Ability to interpret Awards, EBAs, and industrial instruments effectively
- Experience with Time & Attendance and Payroll systems is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
