Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across high-volume kitchen outlets and take your culinary career to the next level.

As a Commis Chef, you will assist with food preparation, learn and follow kitchen procedures, recipes, and presentation standards, and support other chefs in daily operations.

  • Assisting with food preparation such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients
  • Learning and following kitchen procedures, recipes, and presentation standards
  • Supporting other chefs in daily operations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work area and tools
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
  • Participating in mise en place (prep) for service periods
  • Flexibility to work across various kitchen stations
  • Complying with established operational policies & procedures

Candidate Requirements:

  • A strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
  • Good attitude, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the kitchen team and guests
