As a dedicated care provider, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity and well-being.

  • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal hygiene tasks.
  • Mobility Support: Helping clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking and positioning.
  • Medication Assistance: Prompting prescribed medication administration and monitoring health conditions as directed.
  • Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversation and participating in activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Household Tasks: Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a personal care role or similar environment is essential.
  • Education: Certification III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Certification: Current First Aid Certificate.

  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and transferring clients.
