The role will involve providing high-quality person-centred care, utilising your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents alike. As a leader on the ward, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support others, promoting effective teamwork and collaboration.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality patient care that respects the dignity and worth of each individual
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and residents
- Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of nursing policies and procedures
- Acting as a role model and supporting new staff members in their induction process

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in palliative care and knowledge of AN-ACC
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate
