Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to make a real impact in the lives of others by providing personalized support.

  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify life goals and working towards achieving them
  • Engaging customers in recreational activities such as swimming, dancing, bingo, horseback riding, gym sessions, bowling, and more
  • Assisting customers with daily living skills including meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting, medication administration, and attending appointments
  • Maintaining positive behaviour support plans and ensuring they are followed
  • Administration duties and completing daily reports

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) - essential qualification
  • Previous experience supporting customers with mental health concerns and manual handling
  • A willingness to work with customers of any gender, assisting with personal care and domestic duties
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and making a difference in people's lives
  • Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to use your private vehicle
