About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to join our team at Monash University. As a Research Fellow, you will play a key role in supporting the Planetary Health Division and the Health and Climate Initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research projects that address health issues arising from the impacts of climate change.
  • Foster collaboration among researchers to identify, mitigate and adapt to the health impacts of climate change.
  • Develop new research projects, implement strategies for sustainable healthcare, identify priority knowledge gaps and mentor students.
  • Advance the Initiative's mission through conference papers, seminar presentations, publications and supervising research-support staff.
Requirements
  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications or research experience in health research or healthcare delivery.
  • Strong record of publications, conference papers and grant contributions relevant to planetary health, climate and health or public health.
  • Experience with research data collection software and a thorough understanding of ethical research principles.
