About this role

The Lead Solutions Engineer plays a vital part in driving quality and consistency of technical solutions for our region. The position involves creating and deploying engineering standards and templates to achieve efficiency in the Engineering Efficiency Programme.

As an expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that enable real-time monitoring, metering, and control of assets. You will serve as the customers' trusted adviser on all engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong application knowledge specific to different segments and establish yourself as a thought leader in your field.
  • Serve as the technical owner and approver of design from concept to fulfillment, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Deliver presentations and training to internal parties, focusing on engineering solutions and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with the region about EEP initiatives, gather feedback from operational staff, and ensure customer satisfaction and engineering quality.
  • Support local resources during project lifecycles from sales to delivery, including approval signoffs of all engineering solutions.
  • Periodically attend monthly project reviews to ensure EEP adherence and undertake market research and reconnaissance to maintain competitive solutions and tools.
  • Directly involved in delivery of projects and provide technical support and guidance for the region to all functions (Engineering/Service/Sales) for all EEP initiatives and application knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of several years of experience in application knowledge is required.
  • You must possess excellent influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Relevant experience in Systems and Service environment, sales exposure is desired but not essential.
  • Strong engineering and project management skills are necessary.
  • A proven track record in project engineering both with integrated systems and HVAC application knowledge is required.
  • Experience in providing training with certification is preferred.
  • You should have strong PC skills in Excel, Word & Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills are required.
  • You must have sound organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
