Job Title: Senior Building Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Operations Manager to lead our team in Perth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and achieving operational excellence.

  • Provide mentorship and training to the team of supervisors.
  • Guide and direct the team to achieve KPIs and optimize workflows.
  • Create scopes of work with accurate costings and timelines.
  • Recruit, manage, and maintain relationships with sub-contractors.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and management.
  • Contribute to the financial viability of projects by managing cost control against quality.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to work, promoting efficient use of resources.
  • Comply with statutory legislation and Health and Safety policies.
  • Provide high levels of customer service and support.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience leading a team and achieving operational results.
  • Trade qualifications highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to diagnose and prioritize specific work activities and tasks.
  • An understanding of project management principles is highly desirable.
  • Proficient technology skills and ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and work systematically to cope with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • A can-do attitude towards work and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Cert IV or diploma in Building & Construction is desirable.
