About the Role

Pact Group Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead their APM Contract Manufacturing division. This position involves developing, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and experience in production planning or manufacturing operations. They will leverage their expertise to optimize production workflows, manage resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
  • Capacity Management: Analyze production capabilities and constraints to ensure optimal utilization of machinery, labor, and materials.
  • Process Improvement: Apply mechanical/industrial engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Inventory Control: Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor production performance metrics and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics teams to align production plans with business goals.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and scheduling conflicts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Requirements
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration.
