Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Systems Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams in the design and documentation of data centres. This role will cover electrical and building management systems, providing support in commissioning and operations across ANZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery and operation of optimised data centre solutions, services, and functionality, facilitating business growth and scalability.
  • Deliver or review tender and construction design documentation with consultant assistance.
  • Ensure control system architectures adhere to industry best practices for industrial controls systems in critical infrastructure and utility environments.
  • Support new projects and upgrades through lifecycle management, maintaining data centre system control platform resilience and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal business verticals, including operational site management and technology teams, to deliver generational improvements, enhancements, and training that achieve optimised outcomes.
  • Prioritise peer reviews of technical change requests from site operations teams, ensuring best practice and accuracy in proposed works, approaches, methods, and supporting documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data centre or critical environment roles, including operations, engineering, projects, and consultation on scope or delivery.
  • Significant exposure to mechanical, electrical, or security applications in previous roles.
  • Experience developing MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and SWMSs for planned or break-fix works.
  • HVAC/Electrical trade background or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Excellent time management, leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
