This is a permanent part-time position working night shifts from Tuesday to Thursday. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical care to residents with a person-centred approach.
As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
- Acting as a Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
- Strong coaching/training skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Competent IT skills.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
The successful candidate will receive:
- A competitive hourly pay rate of $42.76 - $53.46 per hour, depending on experience, plus superannuation.
