About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our Network Operations Centre, you will be responsible for providing nursing expertise and working collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure optimum health outcomes for our patients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-graduation experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with individuals as well as fostering productive working relationships across disciplines
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines whilst working under minimal supervision
