Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Bedford Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to clients with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist clients in achieving their NDIS goals and objectives.
- Complete progress reports and incident reports as required.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
- Transport clients using a Bedford Group pool vehicle.
- Maintain a duty of care for clients, staff, and self.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Support Worker who is passionate about working in the disability sector. You will have a strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and Quality and Safeguarding Framework. You will be enthusiastic, energetic, and have a person-centred approach, with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and build new skills.
Other key attributes include:
- Minimum Cert III in Disability (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive focus on 'doing with and not for' to empower clients.
