About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled liquidity analyst to support our team with day-to-day measurement, analysis, and reporting of the bank's liquidity position and meeting regulatory requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.

  • Develop and enhance the bank's quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximize benefits for all areas of the bank.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis using R and/or SQL programming languages.
  • Support other team functions including system architecture and design, data extraction, and utilization.
  • Be a lifelong learner and take advantage of on-the-job training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

This is a permanent full-time position with flexible work options that prioritize our people. We offer a hybrid model with minimum three days per week based out of our corporate office.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in banking and finance, commerce, risk management, information technology, or a quantitative discipline such as engineering, mathematics, or actuarial science.
  • Proficiency in coding, with R and/or SQL advantageous.
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in a wide variety of Excel functions, building complex formulas, and the use of multi-sheet and multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded.
  • Team player, curious, with a collaboration approach and drive to learn and grow.
