We are seeking a skilled Senior Settlement Worker to join our team. This rewarding role will equip eligible clients to address their settlement needs and improve social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being, and community connectedness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality case management services, including low, medium, and high-intensity casework, as well as community development initiatives. You will employ a strength-based, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach to promote self-efficiency and agency.

  • You will maintain an up-to-date understanding of mainstream service providers, referral processes, relevant legislation, and frameworks.
  • You will deliver case management services, meeting identified community needs through groupwork initiatives.
  • You will ensure the quality and safety of service delivery, contributing to continuous improvement activities that enhance best practice.
  • You will maintain accurate data collection, client records, to meet funding body and legislative requirements.
About You
  • You hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other relevant human/social sciences, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • You have demonstrated skills/experience in Casework/Case Management, conducting needs assessments, developing, and reviewing case plans, providing information, referral, advice, and case co-ordination.
  • You possess excellent relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals, communities, and key stakeholders.
  • You are able to obtain a National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and must be attested.
  • You hold a current driver's licence and evidence of current flu vaccination and COVID-19.
