Seeking an experienced professional to provide high-quality support in employee relations, specifically in the Australian industrial and employment landscape.

This role requires a confident advisor with strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills to deliver timely, consistent and effective ER solutions and service support to operational requirements of business units and projects.

  • Providing advice and coaching to senior management and employees on employee relations issues including performance management, wage negotiation, disciplinary processes, restructuring activities, legal issues, investigations, conflict management etc.
  • Assessing, managing and providing advice and support on employee and industrial relations issues as well as disciplinary matters to executive staff and key stakeholders across the organization.

To be successful in this key role, it would be advantageous to have:

  • Degree or equivalent training and qualifications aligned to Employee Relations e.g. HR, ER, Accountancy, Law.
  • Professional experience in relevant field.
  • Ability to build positive and effective professional relationships.
  • Ability to solve problems and identify process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

This role includes:

  • Delivering timely, consistent and effective ER solutions and service support to operational requirements of business units and projects.
  • Providing advice and coaching to senior management and employees on employee relations issues including performance management, wage negotiation, disciplinary processes, restructuring activities, legal issues, investigations, conflict management etc.
  • Assessing, managing and providing advice and support on employee and industrial relations issues as well as disciplinary matters to executive staff and key stakeholders across the organization.
