About the Position

This role entails a Senior Environmental Scientist to assist in managing a team of Junior Consultants and provide technical advice throughout a project's lifecycle. The successful candidate will be involved in contaminated land, auditing/compliance, ground water remediation, hygiene and hazardous materials, and landfill projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality environmental assessments and reports, including DCI, PSI, and waste classifications
  • Conduct field work, including soil, surface water, waste classifications, clearance inspections, and sample management
  • Liaise with clients, offering advice and solutions when needed
  • Assist in the mentorship and development of Junior Consultants
  • Coordinate contractors to ensure project completion
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in contaminated land projects
  • Full C Class Manual Driver's License
  • Proven local experience within the industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or similar
