Job Opportunity: HACCP and Warehouse Coordinator

This role plays a vital part in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests.

The primary objective of this position is to maintain and manage the day-to-day provisioning of all food and beverage requirements, ensuring that Journey Beyond trains are serviced within predetermined guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and managing the day-to-day provisioning of all food and beverage requirements.
  • Assisting in the design and maintenance of menus across the business, coordination of the Journey Beyond food safety system, ensuring effectiveness and continually improving quality.
HACCP and GSR Food Safety System:
  • Gathering, sorting, filing, and reporting on company food handling activities and those of partners. Providing educational support to GSR employees on safe food handling and all elements of the food safety system.
  • Maintaining quality inventory systems and procedures through training and support to the GSR Warehouse Manager and warehouse team.
  • Leading, coaching, and guiding staff through their responsibilities to the Food Safety Plan.
About You:
  • Required qualifications include a graduate degree, with preferences given to those with a degree in Food Science.
  • Essential experience includes an intimate working knowledge of accredited food safety systems.
  • Desirable attributes include strong empathy with guests and staff in a tourism and hospitality environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, evidence of successful team membership, attention to detail, proven project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and excellent organisational skills with the ability to work within strict time constraints.
