This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe and evidence-based standards of nursing care to patients undergoing coronary angiograms, pacemakers, vascular procedures, and other cardiac interventions.
- Collaborate with the CCU team on post-procedural care for patients, ensuring seamless transitions and excellent outcomes.
- Lead quality improvement and safety management projects to drive desired outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs and promote a positive work environment.
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice and advocate for patient safety.
- Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in an acute Cath lab setting.
- Valid NSW Working with Children check.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
- Postgraduate certificate in critical care, cardiac nursing, or interventional cardiology desirable.
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
- Valid Australian work rights.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.
