Intensive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our large, high-acuity 30-bed Level 6 unit serving as the main referral centre for critically ill patients across Northern NSW. This exciting opportunity will also involve working in a dedicated 7-bed tertiary unit caring for critically ill children with a range of medical and surgical conditions.
Your Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ICU/PICU environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Work collaboratively with specialists including Trauma, ECMO, Neuroscience, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Stroke, and Retrieval Services.
- PARTicipate in a rotating roster covering 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends, and enjoy regular support from Clinical leaders and a Nurse Unit Manager available 24/7.
Your Ideal Candidate Profile
- You hold current registration as an experienced Registered Nurse in Adult or Paediatric Intensive Care.
- You possess strong clinical judgement, are compassionate, calm under pressure, and communicate effectively.
- You are emotionally resilient, well-organised, and able to make decisions quickly when required.
