Data Governance Lead

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Lead to play a key role in driving our organization's data strategy. As a strategic partner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a robust data governance framework, ensuring the accuracy, security, and compliance of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities across business units.
  • Design and enforce data classification frameworks to control sensitive data access.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Implement automated data validation and cleansing processes to maintain data accuracy in large-scale datasets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and OAIC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
