Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Production Systems Director to lead our production team and maintain and deliver production systems, including production equipment, process, and training, quality management, returns management, and design for manufacture. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in production and production engineering functions, with a solid track record of managing people and a strong background in high-volume electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 7 production engineers and provide direction, coaching, development, and support.
  • Take a leadership role in Advanced Navigation's quarterly planning process and design laser-focused production engineering goals for the team.
  • Enable Advanced Navigation to meet its production targets by introducing and maintaining effective and efficient production systems and processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and production technical expertise to both the production and R&D teams.
  • Partner with the Head of Production to maintain the production line and drive supplier selection protocols within the business.
  • Keep up to date on advancements in engineering and production and share findings with the relevant teams.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:

UTS TechLabs Botany facility, with some time spent at our George Street Office and Balcatta facility in WA.
