About this role:

The Afterhours Attendant is a vital position that ensures the smooth operation of our services after standard business hours. This individual plays a key part in delivering exceptional support and care to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve emergency calls, providing professional assistance and guidance
  • Act as the liaison between in-home carers and participants during the afterhours period
  • Maintain accurate records of calls and incidents
  • Escalate urgent issues efficiently and effectively
  • Support the delivery of high-quality care and service at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration or customer service (aged care or disability sector preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Confidence in using scheduling systems, phone systems, and office software
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
