At **Nightingale Home Care**, we're passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to NDIS participants and elderly clients in the comfort of their own home. We're currently seeking a dedicated and organised **Afterhours Attendant** to join our team in being the face and voice of our organisation outside of our standard office hours.
**About the Role**
The **Afterhours Attendant** plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our services after standard business hours. Reporting to the **Afterhours Manager**, the Afterhours Attendant will provide key administrative support to our team of front-line support workers, nurses, and clients/participants during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where every day is different and unpredictable, someone who can independently follow policies and procedures, and understands the importance of compassionate, timely communication.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Answer incoming calls after hours, providing professional and empathetic assistance
- Respond to and resolve emergency rostering or scheduling issues as they arise
- Act as the liaison between in-home carers and participants during the afterhours period
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls and incidents
- Escalate urgent issues appropriately and efficiently
- Support the delivery of a high standard of care and service at all times
**What We're Looking For**
- Previous experience in administration or customer service (aged care or disability sector preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Confidence in using scheduling systems, phone systems, and basic office and computer software
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: From $33.96 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
