Job Description

Job Title: Regional Care Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Care Manager to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in providing exceptional care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Directly manage and supervise a team of care professionals, including recruitment, training, and induction of support workers and nurses.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure care professionals are informed, connected, and equipped with up-to-date skills and registrations.
  • Client Service Delivery: Lead efforts to enhance client service delivery and maintain excellent client and family relationships.
  • Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, including skill validation, leave management, and yearly appraisals to recognize achievements and areas for development.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, handle client feedback, and resolve complaints.
  • Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive and unified work environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional care services.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience managing remote and large teams in the aged care or healthcare sector.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to inspire and develop team culture.
  • Relationship Building: Experience in building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of aged care quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion and Commitment: Passion and commitment to Aged Care and the desire to 'make a difference'.
  • Certifications: Current National Police Clearance, Current First Aid Certificate, and CPR certificate.
  • Driver's License: Current Driver's License and Vehicle Registration.
