About the Role

Caulfield Grammar School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Wheeler's Hill Senior Campus. As a key member of our pastoral care team, you will provide counselling support to adolescent students, working closely with staff, students, and parents to promote the psychological, social, and emotional wellbeing of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, including risk assessments and crisis response.
  • Develop and implement small-group interventions to support student wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing.
  • Conduct educational assessments and provide recommendations for student support.
  • Model and promote the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience as a psychologist working with adolescents, ideally within a school-based environment.
  • Confirmed registration with AHPRA, along with any relevant qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to develop appropriate relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • The capacity to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Adherence to the Australian Psychological Society Codes of Ethics.
  • Employment Working With Children Check.
