As a key member of our pastoral care team, you will provide expert counselling services to adolescent students, supporting their psychological, social, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, including risk assessments and crisis response.
- Develop and implement small-group interventions to support student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Conduct educational assessments and develop strategies to support students with educational, social, and behavioural difficulties.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's pastoral care and personal development program.
- Maintain accurate records and administration to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Proven experience as a psychologist working with adolescents in a school-based environment.
- Confirmed registration with AHPRA and relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to the Australian Psychological Society Codes of Ethics.
- Current Working With Children Check.
