Facilities Management Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team, responsible for managing facilities across operational and tenanted properties. The successful candidate will work with in-house teams and external contractors to ensure efficient facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the delivery of facilities management services, covering approximately 30 properties.
- Oversee estate improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and safely within live operational environments.
- Coordinate the delivery of a full range of facilities management services with contract partners.
- Manage budgets, track expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure services are delivered in a cost-efficient manner.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment.
- Experience in property asset management, maintenance planning, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in budget management with a focus on cost control and financial planning.
- A trade qualification is required (e.g., plumbing, gas, electrical, or fabric).
- Full driving license and ability to travel as required.
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safety qualification is desired.
- Salary between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, on a 37 hours per week contract.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
