Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Telecommunications Specialist.

  • This position requires installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications and electronic equipment in accordance with predefined work programs.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the repair and adjustment of mechanical signalling equipment as required.
  • All work must be performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements and legislative policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and electronic equipment
  • Assistance with repair and adjustment of mechanical signalling equipment
  • Ensuring all work is conducted in line with WH&S regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • A Trade Certificate in Telecommunications
  • Registration as an Open Cabler with ACMA
  • Experience in railway telecommunications equipment and systems
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening
  • A current Manual C Class Driver's License
