Telecommunications Installation Specialist Role

**Job Overview:**

A great opportunity has arisen for a skilled Telecommunications Rigger to join our team and be involved in the installation, maintenance and setup of remote telecommunications networks across Australia. **Key Responsibilities:*

  • Climb radio towers, masts and monopoles;
  • Lead teams on installations and upgrade projects ensuring client and industry specifications, standards and HSE practices are adhered to;
  • Rigging of antennas and radios at height;
  • Installation and testing of Communication feeders and hybrid cables for Telecommunications equipment;
  • Roof mast installations;
  • Cabling through buildings between communication equipment;
  • Assist with construction of radio towers;
  • Installation of extra low voltage power systems;
  • Installation and alignment of radio antennas;
  • Create documentation reflecting all the works completed out in the field;
  • Be involved from start to finish in projects to ensure smooth deployment of projects and effective implementation;
  • Travel to remote locations across Australia, often exclusively accessible by 4x4 or helicopter.

**About You:**

The ideal candidate will have experience in Telco Rigging and be able to travel to remote sites for deployments up to 14 days. They should also possess a Working at Heights and Tower Rescue Certificate, ACMA Open Cablers Registration, 4x4 driving experience, RF/EME Awareness and Construction White Card.
