Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, including telephones, cables, VoIP, Internet connectivity devices, and other related technologies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure their functionality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunication systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Evaluate system performance levels, identify user needs, and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the team and other departments to ensure seamless telecommunications across the organization.
  • Assist in designing and installing telecommunication infrastructure for new facilities or system upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users on understanding and using telecommunication systems effectively.
  • Document all installations, repairs, and system updates to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a secure working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, including new products and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a telecommunications technician, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, data networks, wireless technology, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with clients.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest telecommunications systems and trends.
  • Professional certification in telecommunications or related fields is a plus.
  • Willingsness to work outside standard business hours, as required.
  • Ability to work on traditional PABX systems such as NEC and Panasonic.
