About the role
We are seeking a skilled operator to join our Killara team on a casual basis.
Located near Quirindi, NSW, our modern 20,000 head feedlot is an iconic business in the Australian landscape.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for feeding cattle and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy plant, machinery, and trucks efficiently.
- Unloading and distributing commodities accurately.
- Bunk reading and cleaning regularly.
- Managing Feed Mill Operations effectively.
- Performing repairs and maintenance as directed.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid motor vehicle license (essential).
- Previous experience operating loaders and skid steers (essential).
- Desirable: Previous Feedlot industry experience.
- Commitment to safety and zero harm policy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Capacity to work independently and follow directions.
- Reliability and high motivation levels.
