We are seeking an experienced Turf Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Royal Park, Melbourne.
About the Role:
The Turf Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and renovating turf to a high standard. This includes inspecting, repairing, and reporting on all tools, equipment, and fleet, while adhering to chemical management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain turf surfaces to ensure they meet required standards
- Repair and report on any damage or issues with tools, equipment, and fleet
- Manage and maintain chemical usage in accordance with company policies
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Turf Management apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Current and valid chemical application certificate (ACUP)
- Current Driver's License
Desirable Experience:
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
- Experience in maintaining turf wickets, warm, and cool season turf surfaces
- Experience using various turf machinery
- Experience in sports field line marking
- Experience using multi pro sprayer
- Strong ability to identify pest and diseases
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and motivating staff
