Turf Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Turf Management Specialist to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality turf surfaces across our sporting grounds.

This hands-on role involves conducting regular turf inspections, developing and implementing turf maintenance schedules, and providing expert advice on turf care and management practices.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or extensive experience in turf maintenance, with a strong understanding of turf health, soil science, and integrated pest management principles.

You will work closely with our facilities team to ensure that all turf areas are well-maintained, safe, and meet the highest standards for sports performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of turf conditions, treatments, and repairs;
  • Developing and implementing turf maintenance schedules to ensure optimal turf health;
  • Providing expert advice on turf care and management practices to staff and contractors;
  • Conducting regular turf inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions;
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to source quality turf products and services;

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent experience;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as mowing, spraying, and scarifying;
