About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Legal Contracts Specialist. As a key member of our contracts advisory group, you will be responsible for providing guidance on contractual provisions and managing risks associated with major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage risks associated with contractual breaches.
- Develop and submit correspondence, notices, and claims to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead the preparation and submission of reports to stakeholders, highlighting contractual timeframes and mechanisms.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in construction, utilities, energy, or a similar project-based environment is required.
- Proven expertise in upstream and downstream negotiations, contract administration, negotiation, and influencing skills is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders are required.
