Overview
We are looking for an experienced Real Estate & Construction Lawyer to join a high-performing in-house legal team on a 6-month contract basis.
This role can be structured as either a fixed-term contract or a daily rate arrangement.
The role includes:
Advising on corporate leasing and construction arrangements across the APAC region
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including: Agreements for lease (commercial and retail), Lease surrenders and incentive deeds, Services agreements and Construction agreements and work orders
Providing strategic legal and commercial advice on real estate matters
Supporting general commercial legal needs across a diverse portfolio of projects
Qualifications & Experience
Admitted to practice in Australia with at least 5+ years PQE (open to more senior)
Experience gained in-house or within a top/mid-tier firm real estate team
Strong skills in drafting and negotiating complex property leasing agreements
Ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
Location: Sydney (hybrid working available)
Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend to 12 months)
Contract type: Fixed-term or daily rate (depending on candidate preference)
