Life Skills Coach Position

The role of Life Skills Coach involves designing and delivering community programs aimed at developing life skills, hobbies, and social connections. This position requires observing the facilitation of these programs, assessing their effectiveness, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve My Life programs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain strong relationships with colleagues across business units to ensure program requirements are met
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and customers to implement day programs effectively
  • Establish evaluation processes and support team members in implementing improvements
  • Monitor program progress against work plans and organisational goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Disability sector and NDIS practice framework
  • Proven ability to deliver outcomes within an outcomes framework
  • Experience in program development and content creation, with a strong understanding of adapting content for diverse clients
  • High-level coordination and management skills for multiple concurrent projects or programs
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively to various audiences
