Job Summary
The Ministry is seeking an experienced Commercial Lease Manager to join their Property Strategy and Planning team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
This role will involve managing leased properties within the portfolio, negotiating lease terms, managing rent reviews and renewals, maintaining lease data, and building relationships with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- Manage leased properties within the Ministry's portfolio
- Negotiate lease terms, manage rent reviews and renewals, and maintain lease data
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to financial oversight and ensure compliance with strategic goals
- Relevant tertiary qualification and 2+ years' experience in commercial property management and leasing
- Proven ability to identify risks and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, combined with strategic problem-solving and issue resolution
- Demonstrated experience in managing client and tenant relationships
- Strong background in lease negotiation, administration, and overall lease lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience in using Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) and SharePoint is highly desirable
