About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Business Support Lead to join our team at Melton City Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Major Project Delivery team, ensuring the successful program and project management of assigned large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Major Project Delivery team, including preparing documents, maintaining project records, and ensuring compliance with Council's policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and community groups.
  • Identify and initiate opportunities to develop new processes and procedures to improve the management of projects and engagement of stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary qualification in administration, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project and administration support in a local government or community services context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Current valid Victorian driver's license.
