Schnitz is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant chain that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Melton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and high-quality food presentation.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions to maintain our high standards.
  • Assist with ordering stock from various suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Support with office administration duties, including paperwork, banking, and cash handling.
  • Manage daily and weekly cleaning of production areas, dining rooms, and general restaurant spaces.
  • Ensure safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, maintaining a secure environment for staff and guests.
  • Meet restaurant financial objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in hospitality, particularly in high-volume operations.
  • A passion for food and exceptional customer service, with a focus on delivering genuine hospitality.
  • A constructive, positive, and considerate communicator, able to build strong relationships with staff and guests.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for building a positive culture within the restaurant, making Schnitz an enjoyable place to work.
