Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving time and resources
  • Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project teams
  • Support and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills
  • Buildeffective relationships with clients and identify business development opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems)
  • Have the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines
  • Proven experience in the building services sector, with a focus on infrastructure, property & buildings, defence, healthcare, educational, and/or mission critical facilities
  • Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
  • Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry
  • Demonstrate a history of managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
