Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home accepted, for a Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will design building mechanical HVAC systems, review project requirements, produce technical drawings, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, conducting site visits, and supporting project management activities from design to implementation.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in CAMEL, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Experience in designing and modelling mechanical services HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of local building mechanical services codes and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPEng, MIEAust, DBP Accreditation, NER) are a plus
