We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for importing and manipulating vendor drawings/models, producing detailed mechanical drawings/models including P&IDs, and collaborating with Mechanical/Process engineers to deliver plans for construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Import and manipulate vendor drawings/models.
  • Produce detailed mechanical drawings/models including P&IDs.
  • Export equipment/piping quantities.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical/Process engineers to deliver plans for construction.
  • Support project teams with documentation, revisions, and coordination of drawings/models.
  • Establish and maintain design templates and drawing standards.

You will be a highly skilled CAD user with experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design. You will also have strong technical knowledge and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

A relevant TAFE qualification, diploma, or degree in drafting, engineering, or design is essential, along with a commitment to working safely and within our safety protocols.
