As a Human Resources Business Partner, you'll provide strategic HR leadership, advice, and support to help achieve key business objectives within the Detpak business.
Detpak specializes in packaging solutions for the food service industry. We work with major take-away food brands and other customers, including coffee roasters, cafes, bakeries, distributors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the business to provide technical advice and support for recruitment, employment matters, and performance management.
- Coaching the Senior Management Team on People & Culture issues and developing their capabilities.
- Supporting managers to motivate and engage their teams and deliver results.
- Building trust and effective relationships with employees to drive employee engagement.
- Assisting with employee relations issues and providing advice, guidance, coaching, and support to managers on employment matters.
- Facilitating the effective onboarding of new employees and exit of leavers.
- Improving existing HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Collaborating with and contributing to the People & Culture community.
- Responding to People & Culture queries and other ad hoc duties as required.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, Business, or a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience working in a People & Culture role within sales or manufacturing.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and mental agility to deliver commercially astute outcomes.
- Broad and contemporary knowledge of human resources matters.
- Previous experience partnering with Senior Managers and coaching and developing them to achieve business objectives.
- Resilience and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive approach with high levels of initiative and motivation.
- Strong commitment to service excellence.
- High levels of personal integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
