Job Summary

The People and Culture Business Partner plays a pivotal role in actualizing organizational culture and values through coaching, guidance, and strategic initiatives.

  • Develops deep understanding of business and customer needs, identifies barriers to successful achievement of the strategic agenda, and provides proactive advice on all people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivers timely tactical and strategic people solutions that positively impact culture, engagement, business performance, and employee life cycle, aligned to the people strategy and plans.
  • Leads or contributes to business projects and programs with workforce, people, or culture implications.
Critical Deliverables
  • Develops and deploys innovative strategic and operational People Partnering solutions, projects, policies, and practices.
  • Ensures consistent, proactive, and professional service delivery across Saab Australia.
P&C Governance Framework
  • Develops and maintains current and legally sound P&C policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Stays informed regarding ER/IR legislation and process requirements, emerging technologies, case law, and P&C best practice tools and frameworks.
About You
  • Demonstrated success and experience working in a similar P&C role, ideally within defence or an equally complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong P&C change management and project delivery capability.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, partnering, and relationship management e.g. with Sweden colleagues, P&C Leadership Team, the broader P&C team, leaders at all levels, our workforce, and external partners.
