Pathology Laboratory Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Laboratory Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a large-scale business with extensive networks across Australia, providing stability, security, and career growth opportunities.

About the Role
  • Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing, including specimen dissection and execution of results for pathological diagnosis.
  • Assist with inventory management and maintain all equipment in line with protocols.
  • Participate in routine and audit-related Quality Assurance activities, contributing to continuous improvement and development of new assays as required.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals as necessary.
About You
  • You will need a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise, and skills within the respective discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting.
  • A commitment to quality and excellence, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
