Are you a highly skilled and experienced Scientist seeking a new challenge in the field of Haematology, Biochemistry, Transfusion, and Stat-Microbiology?

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and multi-skilled individual to join our team as a regional Scientist.

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Scientist who can perform manual and automated diagnostic testing, maintain current scientific knowledge, participate in Quality Assurance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for quality and excellence, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing
  • Maintain current scientific knowledge and participate in Quality Assurance activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise, and skills within the respective discipline
  • Sound knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement quality and service improvement activities
