This role involves leading a team of professionals to create complex simulation systems using 3D and VR technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing simulation systems with high-performance capabilities.
- Developing and integrating DIS and HLA interfaces for seamless interoperability.
- Architecting and implementing secure WAN/LAN networks for simulators.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Leading projects working with cross-functional internal and external teams.
- Conducting testing, validation, and documentation to ensure robust system performance.
- Proven experience in software programming for simulation systems, ideally in defence environments.
- Expertise in 3D graphics engines, VR integration, and real-time systems.
- Strong knowledge of DIS and HLA protocols and interface development.
- Solid background in network engineering, WAN/LAN design, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and ability to obtain security clearances.
