About the Role:

Airnorth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1 to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks in accordance with company policy and CASA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CASA regulations and company policies
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on Embraer aircraft
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of aircraft systems
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification
  • Aircraft Type Rating: Embraer E120 or E190, E170 desirable
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with unrestricted working rights
  • Understanding of the Civil Aviation Act and Regulations applicable to Certificate of Approvals
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Developed troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC
  • Ability to obtain and hold an Airside Drivers Licence
  • Ability to pass random and routine drug and alcohol screening
